I received my master degree from Bastyr Unviersity. I have completed post master studies at Harvard University and Harvard Medical School. I have been practicing since 2004. I value and pursue continued training to keep current on my skills and the latest research.
I have experience and training in a variety of modalities including; somatic transformation, somatic experiencing, IFS (internal family systems), EMDR, DBT (dialectial behavioral therapy), mindfulness, interpersonal neurobiology and others. In addition, I have experience and specialized advanced training working with C-PTSD, DID and other Dissociative Disorders as well as Hoarding Disorder. I lean most towards the somatic modalities, mindfulness, neuroscience, and the incorporation of mystical studies as desired by the client.
My style is warm, connected, compassionately honest, creative and often includes playful humor.
I affirm and work with all gender identities, neurodiversity, and ways of being in the world. My clients often describe me as compassionate, very present, heart centered, interactive and kindly direct. My clients are often experiencing life transitions, feeling stuck, have experienced trauma that continues to show up in various ways, experience dissociation or not feeling fully in their body, and depression/anxiety as examples. Creatives, spiritual seekers and professional women often find their way to my practice.
